"I am in agreement with that." You can also say, "Ich bin nicht damit einverstanden." which means "I am not in agreement with that."
German is great. Deutsch ist toll. It's difficult but it's worth it.
Alle Menschen sollte wenigstens zwei Fremdsprachen lernen.
All people should learn at least two foreign languages.
The latest Feminist saying I learned was, "Frauen sollten immer bekommen 'gleichen Lohn fuer gleiche Arbeit.'"
"Women should always receive 'equal wages for equal work.'"
Okay, enough about German. I don't blog often, this is pretty fun. I probably won't do it again anytime in the near future. Okay, maybe during spring break. My life is rather busy. Work, school, work, school, this, that, etc.
I saw the Magnetic Fields in San Francisco last weekend and it was fabulous. I thought that I would never ever get the chance to see them live, but I did and it was completely worth the hectic weekend that follow. Their music makes me so happy.
Also, other music makes me happy.
Right now, I'm reading Vasari's Live of the Artists and it's very interesting reading original text (translated of course, I can't read Italian) from the Renaissance with all of the biases and prejudices that people in those times carry. Not unlike our times, but we can just see theirs a bit more clearly, because we've "evolved" beyond that viewpoint. He also thinks that Italian art is the epitome of everything noble, worthy, and beautiful in art. I highly recommend this book. So far, for my Art History Seminar class, this has been my favourite reading.
Artemisia Gentileschi had a very interesting life and is a wonderful Baroque artist that should be noticed.
I just acquired some new music from Cameron's computer and the internet. I want to make a new mix soon. Lately, everytime I make a mix I always think there is something missing. Maybe that is because you can only fit 80 minutes or less of music onto one CD.
Improv Games are fun.
Someday I'll be able to type relatively fast without having to glance at the keyboard. The less I think about where the letters are, and let my fingers find them the easier it is.
